What is the dress code?

Our wedding dress code is cocktail attire. For women, knee-length, midi, or tea-length dresses, or elegant jumpsuits, are ideal. For men, this means a suit or tailored blazer with contrasting trousers.

Where is the reception?

A cocktail hour & reception will be held at the same venue, Piedmont Community Church, immediately following the ceremony.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by July 19th.

What are your wedding colors?

Our wedding colors are dusty blue, navy, sage green, and ivory. The bridesmaids are wearing dusty blue.

Will there be parking?

There are no reserved parking spaces at Piedmont Church, but you can park for free on the surrounding residential streets or next to the park on Highland Avenue. It’s also easy to take an Uber or Lyft to and from the venue. If you have mobility issues, please let us know, and we can help arrange for a more accessible drop off / pick up location.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony begins at 4:00 pm. Doors open at 3:30 pm, so please plan to arrive between 3:30 and 3:45 pm to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted experience for everyone.

Can I bring a plus one?

All guests will be listed specifically by name on your invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding given our space constraints.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

In order to respect the significance of the Christian wedding ceremony, we kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras put away during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer capturing the moment in a way that is respectful to the church ceremony. Feel free to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception! Thank you for your understanding.

Are there any wedding traditions I should be aware of?

We will be having an Anglican wedding ceremony following the Book of Common Prayer. The service is structured and liturgical. It includes a processional, scripture readings, a sermon, traditional wedding vows, exchange of rings, prayers, and communion. We will have wedding programs so you can follow along and participate in the responses if you wish. Please engage in whatever way feels right to you.

For communion, we welcome anyone who is baptized to receive. If you have questions about what to expect, feel free to ask us.

Where is your registry?

You can find our registry on the Registry page.
